A wise man once said “scared of the future while I hop in the DeLorean.” For those who might not have been obsessed with all things Michael J. Fox in the mid 1980’s a DeLorean is the car that Marty McFly used to go back to the future. Now Yeezy is obviously using this metaphor to talk his usual ish but it got me thinking a bit…

Why are people so scared to move onward and upward into the future. Just because you feel as though everything is all good right now doesn’t mean that it’s going to stay that way. I say embrace the future and all it has to bring.

If you felt like 2010 wasn’t your year guess what??! Time moves on and 2011 is right around the corner. If you feel as though the job market is still horrible..take a few temp jobs believe me it’ll make the future come a lot faster. If you’re feeling all of those libations you partook in the night before…go your ass to sleep when you wake up time will have passed and I promise you will feel better. If you feel as though some relationships you are keeping in your life are like a dark cloud over your head…keep it moving the future will be a whole lot brighter.

All I’m trying to say is that even though moving on and embracing things unknown can be scary at times it’s necessary and you will not regret it..I don’t know about ya’ll but I’ll hop my ass in that DeLorean real quick.
